🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 - I have had a storage unit at Broadway Self Storage since 2000. I originally chose to have my storage unit at Broadway Self Storage because they were one of the few places that would sign for packages and then place the packages directly in my unit. Because I worked with heat sensitive materials for work it was also important to me that my unit was temperature controlled. The other deciding factor for me to choose Broadway Self Storage was the location. Since I lived downtown near Wash Park the location was perfect. The building is always clean, well lit, and I appreciate that they have both access through the front door and access through the back door off the alley. They also offer free cold water to their customers, which I've never seen any other storage facility offer. I've never had any issues at Broadway Storage and in fact I feel like they have gone above and beyond for me. When I first moved in I realized that I really needed to have a power outlet so I could plug in a light. Since I mainly used my storage unit for work purposes this was very important, but not something I thought about until after I had moved in. A day later the owner called me and said they just had their electrician install a power outlet for me in my unit. I was so grateful for that. I found out later that this wasn't something they did for people, but because I took a chance and had asked and because they knew it was important for me for the work I was doing, they took it upon themselves to pay their electrician to do this. They never asked me for any additional money and even though I offered them some money to help them pay the electrician they wouldn't accept it. Over the years I have gotten to know the owner, who has always been extremely friendly to me, and his son, who also works at Broadway Self Storage. The owner's son has always offered to help me with anything I needed. Whether it's helping me to carry something to or from the car, to getting me a band-aid when I've cut my hand, to allowing me to stay a few minutes past closing so I could finish what I was doing. Broadway Self Storage has always been very accommodating and I appreciate everything they have done for me over the years. I've now been there for almost 15 years and as long as I have things that need to be stored I will always remain one of their loyal customers. - Nicole Ford
